Food, food and food...
Hanging in Chi-Town is always a good time. This year we headed over to the 31st Street Lot to tailgate. A large group of Eagles fans hooked up with the legendary Timmy for da Bus and tailgated together. One of the greatest things about tailgating is the camaraderie we have. Two opposing teams enjoying a day of food, friends, family and football!
I pulled the RV in there Saturday night and the party started. Dry-rubbed ribs stuffed grilled jalapenos, rotisserie beef, sausage and peppers, BBQ chicken, grilled filets and whole hog baby! You can't go wrong there.
You gotta walk the lot and talk with everyone. The variety of food, the family atmosphere and shots from the belt primed the pump for a full belly and a big smile. Check out the epitome of Mike Ditka's Bears with the cigars and the determined look as if to say"bring it!" And they did, they did those stuffed jalas.
Mike from Philly drove in with his Tailgate Rescue Ambulance and enjoyerd a day with fellow Eagles fans. I had the pleasure of finally sitting down and sharing a nice steak with the Philly's fan Tailgate Russ!
Final call: A full weekend of Blues, Brews and Bears!
